Our client, a leading global Oil and Gas services company, seek 2 experienced Metallurgy Laboratory Managers for Permanent positions in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
Along with a significant Tax Free salary, the roles come with accommodation and car (or generous allowance) , health care, married status (spouse allowed), annual paid return trip to UK and 25 days holiday.
Candidates should have previous recent experience managing a Metallurgical Laboratory with a significant amount of work coming from the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Key technical areas are:
- Corrosion Testing and Analysis.
- Failure Analysis.
- Steel Metallurgy.
- Welding.
The Role:
- Technical Management of a busy Metallurgical Laboratory serving the oil and gas industries.
- Responsibility for scheduling and running testing and analysis services.
- Sign off on technical reports and analysis.
- Technical consulting and problem resolution with clients.
- Day to day man management of staff.
- Operation management of equipment and services.
- Travel around the Middle East to client sites.
The Candidate:
- Experienced Metallurgical Laboratory manager
- Degree in Metallurgy or related subject
- Dynamic and energetic character with the confidence to manage an international facility.
- Must have experience in Oil and Gas industries.
